To register online you will need your CA driver’s license or CA ID card number, the last 4 digits of your Social Security number and your birthday to register online.

Follow these steps to register to vote online:

2. Input the rest of your information into the California State Voter Registration Form.
3. Select CSU San Marcos for University or College affiliation.
4. Carefully, review your information, then submit your form.
5. You’ll receive an email confirmation of your application.

  The organization's (HELS) program provides free consultation on voter eligibility for all individuals living in the United States. Contact the HELS team to schedule an appointment to discuss your eligibility to vote in the upcoming election.

  The deadline to register to vote in California for the November 4th CA Statewide Special Election is Monday October 20th, 2025. If you missed the deadline to apply, you can go to a polling place or vote center to register. You will be able to register and vote on the same day - all the way up through Election Day.
