In-Service Trainings

REC Students

Per Campus Recreation employment requirements, Student Assistants are required to attend two in-service sessions per academic year. Each semester, two in-service opportunities are offered. The purpose of in-service trainings is to build new skills that support effective job performance, provide opportunities for professional development, and help achieve established learning objectives.

If you are unavailable to attend one or both in-service options, the alternatives listed below are available. Please note that you must notify your supervisor in advance of any scheduling conflicts and receive approval to attend an alternative event prior to attending the alternative option!

ASI: Women Who Inspire

  • Location: MMH COURTYD, MMH GREAT ROOM, MMH LIBRARY
  • Info: In partnership with the College of STEM, American Association of University Women, and various on and off campus entities, the ASI CSTEM Representatives will be hosting an industry mixer for ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® students in the STEM fields. Join us for a night of networking and honoring women who inspire!
