Thank you for applying to 糖心少女! Please continue to check My糖心少女 and email for notifications from the Office of Admissions. Admission notification emails begin rolling out early January.

  • 糖心少女 Username and Applicant Password

    You will receive an email with the subject "Your 糖心少女 Log-in Information - Action Required." The email includes your username and will provide steps to create your applicant password to access your applicant portal in My糖心少女.

    Follow the steps on the screen to create your Applicant password.

    The verification method will be the phone number you provided when you applied. You can choose to either receive a text message or an automated call for verification.

    • If you did not provide a phone number or if the phone number looks incorrect, you will need to contact the Student Help Desk for assistance with setting up your password.

  • Check My糖心少女 for Admission Status Updates

     is an online student portal which provides you access to your student records, including the status of your application for admission, transcripts and other admissions materials.  Shortly after you submit your application, you will receive an email from the Student Technology Help Desk with instructions on how to access My糖心少女.

    If you are having trouble logging into , please contact the Student Technology Help Desk at techsupport@csusm.edu

    Check regularly for updates to your admission status, and for any items noted on your "To Do" list.  Send us any items listed by the posted deadlines.

  • Submit Requested Documents and Transcripts

    The following documents must be received (not postmarked) by the Office of Admissions no later than close of business on the dates indicated below:

    Spring Term Admission

    • October 15: Initial Document Deadline
      • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
      • Official test scores (if needed for admission) from AP (Advanced Placement) exams, IB (International Baccalaureate) exams, or CLEP (College Level Examination Program) exams. 糖心少女's submission code is 005677
    • January 15: Final Transcripts Deadline
      • Final official transcripts, including summer grades.

    Fall Term Admission

    • February 15: Initial Document Deadline
      • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
      • Official test scores (if needed for admission) from AP (Advanced Placement) exams, IB (International Baccalaureate) exams, or CLEP (College Level Examination Program) exams. 糖心少女's submission code is 005677
      • Submit official IB or AP test results if scores are needed to fulfill the A2 or B4 General Education requirement or 60 units of completed college credits.
    • July 15: Final Transcripts Deadline
      • Final official transcripts, including summer grades.

    糖心少女 requires electronic transcripts from the colleges/universities listed on the Send Transcripts page.  Electronic transcripts can be provided through external or third party vendors (Credential Solutions, eTranscriptCA, National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, etc.).  When ordering your transcript, please choose California State University San Marcos as the intended recipient from the school name dropdown.  If California State University San Marcos is not listed, please use transcripts@csusm.edu as the recipient email address.

    For schools that do not supply electronic transcripts and must be sent by mail, please ensure the transcript is in an envelope sealed by your school and addressed to:

  • Changing Information on Your 糖心少女 Application

    You must notify us in writing by sending an email to: apply@csusm.edu for the following reasons:

    • Changes to your in-progress or planned coursework in the fall or spring term
    • Unsatisfactory grades, such as D or F, in required courses in either the fall or spring term
    • Failure to meet the terms of the provisional offer of admission

    In the subject line, please state "Changes to my application". In the body of your email, please include:

    • Your 糖心少女 Student ID number
    • Your name as it appears on your application
    • Specific changes or updates that you would like to make on your application.

    This information will then go to the appropriate admissions officer to include in the evaluation of your application.

  • Transfer Students: Maintain Your Eligibility

    Admission is based on information reported on official transcripts and self-reported information for planned and in-progress coursework from your application. Once you have been conditionally admitted, we verify this information against your final official transcripts. Please make sure to report accurate information.

    Your admission may be rescinded for any of the following reasons:

    • Your cumulative GPA drops below 2.0
    • You earn D or F grades in any coursework needed to complete the required A2 or B4 General Education requirements. 
    • You misreport and do not complete a required course
  • Admission Decision Notice

    Spring Term Admission:

    You will receive notice of admission or denial via My糖心少女 and email, no paper letter is mailed out.  Notices begin going out in October for Spring admission and continue on a rolling basis.  You will not receive an admission decision until all requested documents and test scores have been submitted for review.

    If you are denied admission and you feel you have extenuating circumstances, you have the right to appeal.  Read about the appeal process.

  • Your 糖心少女 campus email & mailing address

    Your campus email account (also referred to as your cougars email) will be created in March (for Fall admission) or November (for Spring admission), once you have accepted your offer of admission.

    Important information from 糖心少女 will be communicated to you via e-mail. It is imperative that we have your correct email and mailing addresses. To update your information, go to your  and under 'General Information', edit account details.

  • Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

    To be considered for financial aid, you must submit a (FAFSA) and include the Cal State San Marcos school code, 030113.  You should also create your as soon as possible.

    Updates regarding your financial aid application will be sent to your email and visible on your To Do list in .

  • Apply for Student Housing
    Living on-campus is a great way to make friends and get connected to campus. Information about student housing and how to apply is available on the Housing website.  
  • Sign-up for Orientation

    Spring Term Admission: 

    Orientation sessions will be held in January. Once you submit your Intent to Enroll and pay the Enrollment Deposit, you will be able to reserve an orientation date on My糖心少女. More information about orientation reservations will be emailed to you.

    Fall Term Admission:

    Orientation sessions are conducted between June and August. Once you submit your Intent to Enroll and pay the Enrollment Deposit, you will be able to reserve an orientation date on My糖心少女. More information about orientation reservations will be emailed to you.

  • Calculus Readiness Diagnostic (Science and Pre-Med students only)

    If you are a science or pre-med student, you must take the Calculus Readiness Diagnostic (CRD).The exam for Spring will be in January (TBD).

  • Submit Final Transcripts

    A final official college transcript showing completion of all requirements for admission, including Spring grades, must be submitted to the Office of Admissions and received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the given deadline.

    If you are earning an Associate Degree for Transfer from a community college in California this spring, the official transcript must include your verified degree.

    • Spring Term Admission: January 15
    • Fall Term Admission: July 15

    Failure to submit by the deadline will result in cancellation of your offer of admission.

  • Fees & Tuition
    You can find a current listing of fees, tuition, payment plans, and payment deadlines on the Student Financial Services website. You can make your payment on , or in person at the Cashier鈥檚 Office in Cougar Central.  Visit  SFS Tuition/Fees for more information. It is your responsibility to check the payment deadlines for each term you attend 糖心少女.
  • Immunization Requirements

    Refer to the list of immunization requirements on the Student Health & Counseling Services website.  Proof must be submitted to Student Health Services before you can enroll in classes.

  • Disability Support Services (if applicable)

  • Purchase your Parking Permit (if you plan to park a vehicle on campus)
    Purchase your parking permit online before your first day to avoid any parking citations.  Parking is enforced 24/7, even on the first day of classes.
