What does it mean to be a STEAM ambassador to you?
To be able to share things that I didn’t know I could share with others and make an
impact on children's views. Another way is how my team and I work together to bring
ideas to the table and, in the end, come up with a project for children to learn,
but also enjoy, and seeing that spark of curiosity or interest that children have
when they do our projects makes such a beautiful experience to be a part of.

What does it mean to be a STEAM ambassador to you?
Being an ambassador means creating and sharing ways for science and art to come together.
I have always loved science and art, so being able to combine them is inspiring. Using
this combination to teach youth is an amazing opportunity, as it shows them how the
two subjects can support one another. Through being an ambassador my love for STEAM
has grown so much and being able to share that love through creative curriculum has
been a dream.

What does it mean to be a STEAM ambassador to you?
As a STEAM ambassador, I am passionate about making Science, Technology, Engineering,
Arts, and Mathematics accessible and inspiring for all students. I believe STEAM is
about curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving, not just technical skills. I strive
to create inclusive spaces where others feel confident exploring new ideas and discovering
their potential. Being a STEAM ambassador means serving as a bridge between knowledge
and community, helping others see how they can shape the future through innovation.

Angelina Parra is majoring in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Ecology
and a minor in Visual Arts. She aspires to become a medical illustrator and later

What does it mean to be a STEAM ambassador to you?
Being an ambassador means sharing my knowledge with youth. There’s nothing quite like
witnessing children’s enthusiasm as they experience something for the first time.
I find this beautiful, as it can create new opportunities and ignite children's curiosity.
My love for STEM grew from a similar experience, where I became captivated by how
the body works and how complex it is, which fueled my desire to learn more about it.
