Our Mission:
ÌÇÐÄÉÙŮ’s Climate Action and Sustainability Center (CASC) aims to advance educational, research, and engagement activities focused on climate change, climate justice, and sustainability for our North San Diego County region. These initiatives, rooted in scientific understanding, prepare faculty, staff, and students from all disciplines to address the climate crisis with practical, solution-oriented approaches. The Center serves as an interdisciplinary, innovative, and inclusive resource for the university, embodying a hopeful, courageous, and holistic perspective.
Our Scope of Work:

- Support students through hands-on learning, projects, and events that connect sustainability and climate justice with real-world careers.

- Assist faculty in shaping their teaching, research, and service to reflect these themes, and foster collaboration across campus and with the community.

- Create educational programs, creative initiatives, and public events that bring people together to create solutions for a healthier, more just future.
