The Department of Environment and Geography

Degrees Offered

In our degree programs, students gain a comprehensive understanding social, political, cultural, and environmental process that shape live on the planet. Geography provides the spatial and physical context, showing where environmental issues occur and how they vary across regions. Environmental Studies adds problem-solving and policy perspectives, helping address environmental challenges and their social consequences. Combined, these two programs allow students to understand complex human鈥揺nvironment interactions and develop sustainable solutions that are both environmentally sound and socially responsible.
