Looking for guidance and information on how to best support your student during their transition to ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ®? Attend our Family Webinar Series! In these webinars, ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® faculty, staff, and students will guide you in coaching your student success and help you learn all about ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ®. 

Schedule for the 2025 -2026 Academic Year 

Most meetings will be held between 7-8pm on Zoom and are specifically for families and support systems. Please be advised the the topics are tentative and may shift to a later date.

Family Move-in Meeting

This meeting will be an opportunity to connect with campus partners to hear about the move-in process and understand policies/procedures of living on campus.  Additionally, this session aims to provide support for families transitioning students to independent living. Generally Family Webinar sessions are intended for families (not students), given this is specific to the move-in process for our newest students staying in on-campus housing...student can attend this meeting as well.

DATE CHANGE! The first few weeks of a student's transition to university life is filled with many emotions, challenges and life shifts. Families- join Office of Success Coaching Director for an engaging session to best support your first-year student in moving through these first couple weeks and thriving on campus.

Campus Recreation (REC)

Join us for this online family webinar to learn how Campus Recreation (REC) plays a vital role in supporting student success and well-being at Cal State San Marcos. More than just a gym, REC is dedicated to promoting holistic wellness—supporting students’ physical, mental, and social health through inclusive recreational services, facilities, and programs.

This session is a great opportunity to understand how ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® supports the whole student, and how you can encourage your student to take advantage of resources that enrich their campus experience both inside and outside the classroom.

Move-Out Meeting for families of students living in housing

Hear directly from Housing and Sustainability about the process of moving out of campus housing. If you have questions about moving out of the UVA, Quad and North Commons, bring them to this webinar. This web is reserved for those with a student living at ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ®.
