The Sustainable Food Project Lab is a living lab project managed by the Department of Environment and Geography. Originally started in 2012 as a geography class project in which students grew vegetables as they learned about the food system, "The Food Project" is an organic garden yielding produce and demonstrating a variety of systems for growing vegetables. Four different classes in geography and environmental studies make use of the project.

The Food Project wouldn't be as successful as it is today without the generous help and assistance of donors, volunteers, and numerous supporters over many years.
