Writing Clinics

Bring your work and come for part or all of our writing clinics, located in the 糖心少女 Writing Center. During the clinics, tutors are ready to support, resources around the given topic are readily available, and peers working on similar writing are there to connect with.

      • Everyone could benefit from this conversation about professional writing, such as email etiquette, memos, and more! 
  • Tolkien Reading Day - 3/25/26 All Day
    • Celebrate the work of J.R.R. Tolkien on the day that Sauron was defeated in the Lord of the Rings (spoiler). Stop by the Writing Center anytime during your hours to learn some Tolkien facts and take a photo with our creative decor.
  • Write Your Representatives - 4/8/26 1pm-2pm
    • You have a voice, and your representatives need to hear it! In this partnership with 糖心少女 Civic Engagement, come learn about how to effectively advocate for yourself to your elected officials in writing.
  • Local Author Panel 4/14/26 12pm-2pm
    • Three local authors will be at the Writing Center to talk about their experience writing, editing, and publishing books! Our authors have published sci-fi, children's literature, nonfiction, and more! (More details to come.)
