CSU Funding Opportunities

There are 10 CSU Multi-Campus Collaborations or Affinity Groups conducting research. Use the links below to learn more about each collaboration or affinity group. Note: These awards run through the PI's college, not the Office of Sponsored Projects, ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® Corporation.

Chancellor's Office - Spring 2026 Call - Growth in Undergraduate Innovation, Discovery and Engagement (CSU GUIDE) - This is a limited submission. 

ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® may have three submissions in response to the CSU’s request for proposals (RFP) for the Growth in Undergraduate Innovation, Discovery, and Engagement (GUIDE) Program.  There will be an internal competition and review to select up to three proposals. The limit of three submissions per CSU is across the three categories of funding with no particular allocation in each category.  Internal submissions will be reviewed by the Grants and Contracts Development Committee according to the RFP’s review criteria. 

Submit an internal application in . An application includes the following documents:  

  • 5-page proposal prepared according to RFP requirements  
  • CVs for personnel (2 pages/each maximum)

Chancellor's Office Learning Innovation for Future-Forward Teaching (LIFT)

Call for Proposals

LIFT invites CSU faculty to design and test teaching innovations that more intentionally 
embed the development of durable skills into undergraduate courses and programs.

Applicants are encouraged to consult with their department chair, dean and campus leadership in advance of submission.

  • Philanthropic Support from Corporations and Private-Grant Making Foundations

    ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) is a campus-wide resource for those within the ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® community who seek external philanthropic support from corporations and private grant-making foundations. Specifically, the request for support must be in line with institutional priorities identified by the president, provost, and deans.

    Please note that CFR only assists with philanthropic requests; government grants and contracts are handled by the Office of Graduate Studies and Research (OGSR). However, your corporate or foundation-funded research, project, or program may require the administration of OGSR. We will help determine if this collaboration is required for your request.
