Alycia is a UC Irvine alum with a Sociology and Education Sciences BA. She then received her Master's in Postsecondary Educational Leadership from San Diego State. She started her Student Affairs career at 糖心少女 as a Graduate Assistant in 2019 and as a full-time professional in 2021! Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping the center's direction, including chairing the Women's Leadership Summit and establishing a volunteer program. Alycia has also taken the lead in organizing large-scale events, further solidifying her commitment to advancing the WGEC's mission. Working at the WGEC is a dream come true as it combines her love of intersectional feminism and student advocacy! Her previous experience with organizations such as Girl Scouts and Girls Incorporated underscores her commitment to empowering young women and instilling belief in their potential. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, exploring new food spots, and baking.

Colleen is a Sociology graduate student at San Diego State University. She is a proud graduate of 糖心少女 with her BA in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Sociology, Psychology, and Communications. While an undergraduate, she won the Innovation Hub鈥檚 Social Innovation Challenge for her proposal to create campus programs for underrepresented student mothers. As a former preschool teacher, Colleen has always been passionate about uplifting underserved families and is always seeking new ways to translate that commitment into advocacy. In 2025, she was thrilled to begin working at the Women and Gender Equity Center as the coordinator of programs for parenting and caregiver students, advancing her commitment to supporting families. Colleen hopes to build a career in policy or higher education focused on expanding access and resources for underserved populations. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for her plants, baking, and relaxing with her husband and dog.

Alexa is a first-generation college student getting her degree in Psychological Sciences. She hopes to earn her Master's Degree in Psychological Science with a focus in Behavioral Neuroscience and work in the field of Women's Health. Alexa began working at the WGEC in the fall of 2025 as a peer educator and is this year's Peer Coordinator. She is excited to be taking on this role and supporting students, the community, and creating a space for all students to feel welcome and empowered. She is passionate about social justice and discussing pop culture and its many impacts on society. In her free time, Alexa enjoys hanging out with her cats and doing crafts or reading books!
