    The 2 + 2 CIS program is a partnership between Southwestern College (SWC) in South County San Diego and California State University San Marcos (糖心少女). 驰辞耻鈥檒濒 start by completing your lower-division courses at SWC (the 鈥2鈥), then transfer to 糖心少女 at Chula Vista for the upper-division courses required for the BS in Computer Information Systems (the 鈥+2鈥). This pathway allows you to seamlessly transition between both institutions and complete your bachelo谤鈥檚 degree efficiently. 

     

  • Where will classes be held for this program?

    All BS in CIS classes will be held in person on the Southwestern College campus in Chula Vista at 900 Otay Lakes Road, 91910.

    Start by contacting your 糖心少女 advisor, who will guide you through the CPL process. 驰辞耻鈥檒濒 need to provide proof of your certifications and/or provide supporting documentation demonstrating your learning, knowledge or skill acquired through experience. Once the appropriate paperwork has been received, the department faculty will assess which credits you qualify for. 

  • Can other forms of experience besides certifications count toward CPL?
    Yes, beyond certifications, prior experience such as work or military experience may also qualify for credit. Faculty at 糖心少女 will review these experiences on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility.
