Global Business Option

The mission of the Global Business Option is to develop talent for a sustainable world. The GB program has been carefully designed to broaden our students’ global worldview and develop worldly professionals.

Required courses are specifically designed to build the essential knowledge and develop personal skills that are critical to be successful in today's dynamic, uncertain, and complex business environment.

Program Requirement

Students are required to complete a global experience designed to develop firsthand insight into living and/or working in a foreign country. This immersive exposure fosters a deeper understanding of the cultural, economic, and organizational contexts that shape international environments—insights that cannot be fully acquired through classroom learning alone. Such experience is essential for understanding the challenges and opportunities of entering foreign markets, effectively communicating and collaborating with a diverse global workforce, and operating within an increasingly interconnected international marketplace.

Students may substitute °ä´Çµþ´¡â€™&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±ð³æ±è±ð°ù¾±±ð²Ô³Ù¾±²¹±ô&²Ô²ú²õ±è;±ô±ð²¹°ù²Ô¾±²Ô²µ requirement (CoBA’s senior experience) by participating in a foreign internship, which can also satisfy the global experience requirement [footnote: International students do not need to satisfy the foreign experience requirement].

Students have these possibilities to satisfy both the experiential learning and international experience requirements:

  • Study abroad + Senior Experience (BUS 495) at ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ®
  • International Internship
  • Study abroad + Internship during study abroad
  • Study abroad + Senior Experience style course abroad
  • Two international summer programs + Senior Experience (BUS 495) at ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ®
