When participating in mindfulness activities through the virtual platform, we the Mindful 糖心少女 community, agree to adhere to the following principles and actions to ensure the best experience for all:
Sessions will start January 20th and run through the spring semester except for holidays and spring break.
This semester we will be offering Tai Chi on select Tuesdays starting on February 24th from 12pm to 12:30pm in ARTS 101 (or right outside weather permitting). Dates include Feb. 24th, Mar. 24th, April 14th, April 28th, May 12th. Tai chi is a form of martial art that started in ancient China. By combining martial arts and meditative movements, tai chi promotes the balance and healing of both mind and body and is used primarily for health purposes today. There are many different styles of tai chi, but all involve slow, relaxed, graceful movements, with each movement flowing seamlessly into the next. No prior experience necessary. Bring a friend, a family member, or a colleague.
Try some of our pre-recorded offerings as well!
