Program Components

Core Component
Focuses on six areas to establish and enhance skills in introspection, organization, professionalism, relationship management, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication.

Experiential Learning Project
Focuses on specialty courses, assignments, and/or experiences.

Technical Component
Focuses on systems and software needed to function in an administrative role. Course levels may vary based on the specific role and experience, i.e. beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

Capstone Project
Cohort members build a portfolio of work that shares everything they have learned and accomplished in the program.

CliftonStrengths

As part of the introspection portion of the core component, cohort members will take the CliftonStrengths assessment to discover their top talents and gain a deeper insight into how they work best. Participants will explore their results during a cohort workshop led by certified CliftonStrength coaches and have the option to schedule a 1:1 coaching session for personalized guidance. This experience is designed to help build greater self-awareness and apply strengths more effectively.

The program spans approximately 5-6 months, giving participants time to complete coursework, participate in workshops, and apply what they learn through an experiential project.

Blended Learning Approach
The program combines self-paced online courses with hands-on learning experiences, allowing participants to engage with content that is flexible yet structured.

Cohort Model
Participants progress through the program as part of a cohort of 8 to 16 staff members. This model encourages connection, collaboration, and peer support throughout the learning journey.

Recognition
Upon successful completion, participants are celebrated during a graduation ceremony and receive a digital badge to display in their virtual signature or professional profiles.

Participation in this program is optional and voluntary. Participation does not guarantee stipends, bonuses, reclassifications, promotions, and/or transfers.
