Internal Professional Networks

Internal Professional Networks are designed to bring staff together by job classification. This initiative creates shared spaces where staff can connect, collaborate, and support one another within their professional communities. Each network will offer opportunities to connect with peers, share resources and ideas, and build stronger relationships across campus.

Our pilot network will focus on one of the largest groups on campus, administrative professionals, with plans to expand to additional classifications over time.

Administrative Professionals Network

The Administrative Professionals Network exists to connect, support, and uplift administrative professionals across campus. We provide a welcoming space to share knowledge, exchange ideas, learn from one another, and build meaningful professional relationships.

Mission: To reduce isolation, recognize the vital role administrative professionals play in our institution, and create a community where members feel valued, heard, and empowered. Through shared experiences, practical resources, and mutual support, we aim to grow together – professionally and personally

Community guidelines

This network is built on trust, respect, and shared purpose. To help create a positive and supportive experience for everyone, we ask members to agree to the following guidelines:

  • Be respectful and professional: Engage thoughtfully, listen openly, and assume positive intent. Differences in perspective are welcome when shared respectfully.
  • Share thoughtfully: This is a public channel consisting of ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® Staff Employees across campus. Please be mindful when sharing experiences.
  • Keep it positive and constructive: This space is focused on learning, problem solving, and connection. Be mindful of different challenges we all face.
  • Support one another: This is a judgement-free space. Ask questions, offer help, and celebrate one another’s wins - big or small.
  • Be welcoming and inclusive: Everyone deserves to feel comfortable participating, regardless of role, department, or experience level.
