To better serve our students, the ALCI of CSU San Marcos is happy to use a rolling admissions process (no priority deadlines).
We recommend submitting applications as early as possible. We encourage our students and partners to keep in mind visa timelines, university class enrollment, housing, travel plans and other factors during this time.
University Access Program (UAP)
This innovative program offers qualified students a dedicated advisor and the opportunity to earn university credits towards a bachelor's degree or select master's degrees at CSU San Marcos.

Intensive English Pathway (IEP) and Undergraduate/Graduate Conditional Admission*
The premier Intensive English Pathway Program accepts students of all levels of English ability and offers qualified students an option to take English language courses along with university courses.

Costs includes tuition, mandatory student fees and recreation fees. Book fees are included. Health insurance is an additional cost. Applicants must submit a bank statement, dated within the past 6 months, showing a balance equal to or greater than the total estimated cost shown above.
*Conditional Admission tuition, fees, and estimated living expenses are different for students seeking conditional admission to CSU San Marcos. Please refer to the Tuition and Fees page under International Admissions for total estimated costs for undergraduate and graduate programs.
Study @ CSU San Marcos
Study @ CSU San Marcos is a non-degree program for visiting/fee-paying international students who want to enroll in university classes (undergraduate or graduate) for credit for one or two semesters at California State University San Marcos.
