Affordable Care Act (ACA) Benefits Overview

Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), you are eligible to enroll in a CSU Health Plan, along with some additional voluntary programs.

Use the links below to navigate to detailed plan information for each benefit of interest.

  • MEDICAL PLANS
    • CalPERS Health Plans
The CSU contributes a portion of the monthly health premium based on the number of dependents you enroll.  Any remaining balance is deducted from your paycheck through payroll deduction.
    • FlexCash Health Program
If you have qualifying outside health coverage, the CSU will pay you cash in lieu of enrolling in the offered CSU health plans.

    IMPORTANT:

If you do not elect a health plan option under this initial enrollment period, you will need to qualify under a permittable event to enroll at a later time.

Dental and Vision plans are currently not available, based on eligibility. The opportunity to enroll will be communicated once eligibility is met.
