ASI Board of Directors Elections

On behalf of the ASI Elections Committee, welcome to the elections page for the Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) Board of Directors! We recommend those seeking the opportunity to serve the needs of ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® students by participating in the shared governance of California State University San Marcos.

The ASI Elections Committee and the ASI Elections are governed by the ASI Bylaws. The ASI Elections Committee has authority to oversee the elections process. 
 
All matriculated students who pay the ASI student body fee at California State University San Marcos are eligible to vote. Students will vote for representative candidates of their college, student-at-large representatives, and executive officers.

 

ASI 2026/2027 Elections Results

14, 733 ballots were sent to the students who pay the mandatory student body (ASI) fee. 510 students voted in ASI Elections. This is approximately a 3.46% voter turnout. Results were verified and approved by the ASI Elections Committee on March 25, 2026 at 5:30pm. Candidates listed in bold were approved as elected officials by the ASI Elections Committee.

Please Note: 
  • The numbers below show the number of votes for college representative positions. Students can vote for more than one representative of their college.
  • Students can only vote for the college representatives for the college they are majoring in.
  • Write-in candidates and those running unopposed require 10% of the votes cast in that office.
