Housing Options & Cost
All costs do not include the non-refundable $100 Administrative Fee due upon submitting your application. Costs are inclusive of utilities and are individual to each student. Costs are not split between roommates. Rates are tentative and subject to change.
Room Types & Floor Plans
What's the difference?
Your room type is the style of bedroom and how many roommates you would like; for example, a UVA triple holds three students.
Your floor plan shows the overall apartment and number of suitemates; for example, a UVA triple is in a floor plan with six students total in two UVA triple bedrooms. Some room types (particularly at the QUAD) may be included in multiple floor plans. Please note that floor plans vary, and we cannot guarantee your room will look exactly the same as it is pictured.
Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Rates
Singles and Deluxe Singles
- UVA Single | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $14,176
This room type varies between three-bedroom apartment styles. There is one person in the bedroom (private room), and there can be anywhere between six and seven people in the apartment.
Each person in this room type will receive:
- Twin XL (extra long) bed
- Desk and desk chair
- Two chests of drawers
- Full closet

- QUAD Single | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $15,960
This room type varies between two to four bedroom apartments. There is one person in the bedroom (private room), and there can be anywhere between three and seven people in the apartment.
Each person in this room type will receive:
- Full-size bed
- Desk and desk chair
- Wardrobe
Average Size is 103 sq ft.
- QUAD Deluxe Single | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $18,888
This room type is in a two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. There is one person in the bedroom (private room) and a total of two people in the apartment.
Each person in this room type will receive:
- Full-size bed
- Desk and desk chair
- Wardrobe

Doubles and Deluxe Doubles

Triples and Deluxe Triples
- UVA Triple 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $10,600
This room type is in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. There are three beds in each bedroom for a total of six people in the apartment.

- QUAD Triple | 2026-2027 Annual Rate: $11,048
This room type is in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. There are three people in the bedroom and a total of five people in the apartment.
Each person in this room type will receive:

- closet (there will be one extra closet to be shared between all three residents)

Meal Plans
Residents of North Commons and Black Oak Hall must choose 1 of 3 Mandatory meal plans. Residents of UVA, QUAD, as well as commuter students, will have a choice of 6 voluntary plans.
