Summer Residents

Staying on campus over the summer is perfect way to stay connected, stay focused, and thrive in your summer class, internship, or job. Summer Housing for ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® students is available with flexible date ranges based on the student’s needs. 

Due to most students leaving during the summer period, there is generally not a limit or waitlist involved for Summer Housing. Click the link to view the Summer 2025 Housing License Agreement.

  • How do I apply for Summer Housing?

    You may apply for summer housing through your . Students currently living in on-campus housing will be able to apply beginning March 24th, 2026.

  • How much does Summer Housing cost?

    Residents will be billed the daily rate for the actual number of days they occupy the summer housing space and in accordance with the Summer Housing License Agreement. The standard time periods for summer academic terms and the number of days that would align with those programs are listed below:

    • 10-Week Session: 5/31/2026 – 8/10/2026 (72 nights)
    • First Block: 5/31/2026 – 7/5/2026 (36 nights)
    • Second Block: 7/6/2026 – 8/10/2025 (36 nights)

    Current residents will remain in their Spring room assignment until their summer space is prepared, which is anticipated to occur on Thursday, May 28th. Students staying in the Spring-to-Summer Interim Period will be charged their summer daily rate for the period from May 15th-May 30th. (15 Days)

    Rooms will be available at the QUAD. Summer residents who will continue living on campus in Fall semester will move over to their new space once the new space is prepared, which is anticipated to occur on Thursday, August 7th, 2026. Those staying in the Summer-to-Fall Interim Period will be charged their summer daily rate for the period from August 11th - August 26th (15 Days).

    *Those staying for the full 10-week block will be billed in two installments - the first block and the second block, matching the corresponding amounts above. (e.g. a Double for 10 weeks is billed TBD for the first block and TBD for the second block. This may be paid as a lump sum amount or on the respective installment due dates - 5/31/2026 for first block, and 6/31/2026 for second block.)  

    **NOTE: These rates are for summer ÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® students and do not apply to conference groups or summer bridge groups.
  • When can I move in? When is move-out?
    • Spring to Summer Transition: Students currently in Housing that apply by the priority deadline will be able to stay during the interim period beginning May 11th through May 29th (summer move-in).
    • Summer Move-In: Students coming in for Summer may move-in beginning at 9am on May 29th.
    • Summer Move-Out: Students moving out at the end of summer must be out of their space by Noon on August 7th.
    • Summer to Fall Transition: Students continuing in housing from Summer to Fall may stay through the start of the Fall semester and will be notified when they are to move-in to their fall space.
  • What if I need to move in early or stay late?
    More information and a form to request early move-ins and overstays are coming soon. These are not guaranteed and residents will be notified based on availability. Any resident granted additional days will pay the daily prorated rate for the additional days until they have vacated, which will be billed to their MyÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® account within 10 business days following the moveout. Make sure to checkout via the front desk or overnight by dropping keys in the Express Checkout box to ensure charges stop on your last day.
  • Do I have to move out between Spring and Summer?
    Students who are Spring 2026 residents may be able to stay in their Spring space until their Summer space is ready. If you are a current resident that will be returning for Fall 2026, arrangements will be made to be able to transition smoothly into your Fall space. These days are charged at your summer daily rate (based on bed type) and will be charged to your MyÌÇÐÄÉÙÅ® account following the interim period. Payment is due within 30 days.
